How does time and space play into the workings of self? I know I will be breaking down into my root surface again soon, testing out known waters for unchartered territory. What will I find along the way? Just when I think I have the knowledge, the experience, and the skill to exceed, I am hit with another test and another trial...what form of trial is yet to be known. My first school year is soon to be coming to a close, and I have learned a lot of myself over these last few months. I never would have expected any of the twists and turns along the way, nor what was even going to come around the corner anymore. Funny how life works, isn't it? Before I came back to this coast, I made the vital effort of shutting a time capsule and listening to the audible click of tumblers as they fell into place. How was I to know that she was to come along with the combination in hand? Except that it is not meant to be open quite yet...I learn about my heart and soul in each and every new day, but oh, how they take their beatings...I am one who wears his heart on his sleeve and now? Now it is a place of safe-keeping that it stays, and I willingly placed it there. My soul though? Huh...that is another story in itself; one of long roads, long lives, and long-lost searching. Where it has been and what it has seen is something I can only begin to fathom; and so, once again, I begin the fold of time and space. Look into myself and renew that bond of strength of self. Picking up from where I left off not too long ago, and make the journey ahead that much easier. To thine one self be true. Hold on McGinty. Hold on.
